Going to switch gears here for a day: here are some pictures of a chainmail bracelet I recently completed. Made of steel, brass, and red glass beads.

One of the other things I do for fun, besides photography, is chainmail. I recently finished a jewelry piece for a show. I thought I'd take same pictures!

I try pretty hard not to post pictures of our cat, but these were just too cute.

Picture came out super noisy so it looks a bit funny, probably see if I can do better next week.

I've taken many pictures of live flowers, but not many dead ones. Time to change that!

I'm working out the logistics for an idea I had, but I wasn't able to get it quite right this week. Here is a test shot from the attempts. Not too exciting, but the first one that's more or less how I wanted it to come out. Now I just need a better subject matter than my kitchen.

kodak brownie reflex synchro

So, a few weekends ago I was at a yard sale and had the opportunity to pick up a Kodak Brownie Reflex Synchro. It is an old camera, produced in the US from 1940-1952.

I was able to get hold of the right film (40mm 127 film) for it and have loaded it up. Hopefully in a few weeks I will have some pictures to share from it! Picture below.

I actually had to spend some time restoring the insides to working order when I first got it. You can see it disassembled here:

Really excited to give it a try!
